During the conference the group, including the Nicaraguan poet Ernesto Cardenal (front) planted olive trees on the Peace Lab property, the center that hosted the conference. The Peace Lab takes in refugees today. Fr.Dionysius Mintoff, a franciscan friar and Peace Lab founder, is behind Cardenal.
